Ofsted Report 2009
Friday, October 9, 2009 at 12:46PM The school is very pleased with the outcome of the recent Ofsted inspection which states that KES is a good school with several outstanding features, including the curriculum and pastoral support. It was great to receive the acknowledgment that we are outstanding in three of the five Every Child Matters outcomes: healthy lifestyles, student contribution to the community and preparing students for future economic well-being. Equally satisfying was the recognition that the school is outstanding in promoting community cohesion and equal opportunity.
The inspectors were very impressed with the quality of teaching, the strong role played by support staff and the way in which the students were welcoming and the way they behaved towards staff and each other.
